Butterflies trailing Alice in a dodge.

Dodging is an ability that allows Alice Liddell to evade certain enemy attacks, such as when she is being grabbed by an enemy, and helps her cross huge gaps in tandem with her floating ability.

Usage Edit

Alice can swiftly evade enemy attacks in any direction by turning into a swarm of butterflies and blue mist, as well as jump and dodge in mid-air. Dodging can be used in and out of combat. Alice can utilize this ability for last-second escapes from traps, as it can be faster to do so rather than running.

Trivia Edit

  • Dodging has a similar animation to Alice's death animation, however, instead of disappearing, Alice will return a few seconds later.
  • The butterflies which appear while dodging or in Alice's death animation are called Papilio ulysses or Blue Mountain Swallowtail. Ulysses is the Roman name for the Greek hero, Odysseus, the central character of Homer's Odyssey. The odyssey itself is a long series of wanderings or adventures, which could refer to Alice and her adventures in Wonderland.
