Ladybugs are enemies first encountered in Hollow Hideaway. They are found when Alice was in her small form.
Biography
American McGee's Alice
Ladybugs only menaced Alice in Hollow Hideaway and never appear again.
Appearance
They basically appear to be mechanical ladybugs, which may be compliments of the Mad Hatter's constant experimentation on creatures of Wonderland.
Attacks
- Bombs Away - A ladybug drops its acorn bomb, which creates a damaging explosion.
- Marble - A larger ladybug drops the giant marble to crush Alice.
Tactics
The Ladybug attacks Alice by dropping acorn-like bombs on her. Much like the Boojum, they hover around the player, making them a difficult target to hit, but in some instances they are very weak.
One particular ladybug is gigantic by size comparison and is strong enough to carry the marble used in an attempt to crush Alice. To avoid being crushed, Alice must run through a set of underground paths and halls in order to get to a safe point.
