R. J. Berg is a writer and executive producer of video games who has been credited on at least 28 games, including nine Star Wars games. Starting in 1989 with The Faery Tale Adventure: Book 1 with MicroIllusions, Berg went on to work with Electronic Arts until 2000, and then LucasArts after that.

He worked with Spicy Horse as a lead writer and executive producer on the game American McGee's Grimm, reprising his role for the GameTap-distributed game as he had for American McGee's Alice.
